Our Freezing Process
 
 
All Backerhaus Veit products are baked and frozen to perfection using our "shock" high-humidity freezing technology guaranteeing optimal moisture maintenance and freezer burn prevention. This enables the extraordinary taste of fresh European artisan breads to be made available, with minimal labour and virtually no waste.

 
  • Our freezer shelf-life is nine to twelve months. Once thawed, craft breads should not be refrozen, or refrigerated at any time.
  • Bake times vary according to product size, and density. To help achieve the best possible results, our trained sales staff would be pleased to supply you with our baking and handling guide.
